It is the polymer of choice in applications where the cost of failure is high. FKM has excellent resistance to aqueous acids and bases, polar solvents, hydraulic fluids, fuels, and many chemicals. FKM can be considered for use across a wide temperature range, from sub-zero temperatures to over 300°C.
