Why use flame retardant rubber?

This type of rubber is specifically designed to provide a higher level of fire resistance than other materials, making it an ideal choice for products that may be exposed to flames or high heat.
Flame retardant rubber is designed to provide a higher level of fire resistance than other materials. This means that if there is an accidental fire, the product made with flame retardant rubber will be less likely to ignite or burn quickly. Flame retardant rubber is made using a special formula that helps it resist the spread of flames and reduce the amount of smoke.
2.Flame retardancy (not referring to high temperature environment)
Flame retardant rubber provides excellent fire and heat protection. This synthetic rubber can withstand temperatures up to 100~150℃ without melting or burning, making it ideal for special occasions.
Here we want to talk about our neoprene sheet, the general flame retardancy is between 80~100 °C, if you add more neoprene base material, it can be increased to about 150 °C, or replaced with EPDM raw material, also at 150 °C ℃ or so.
It should be noted that heating for a long time and working at high temperature will dry out the rubber sheet and shorten the use time.
Laying flame retardant rubber in high-speed rail stations, subway stations, railway stations and other places with relatively large crowd flow can prevent fire from spreading and protect people's safety.
